Touring Exhibition on the Great War

On Thursday 13 March the Institute for Veterans-National Institute for War Invalids, War Veterans and War Victims presented its new exhibition: “The Great War in broad strokes”.
The exhibition consists of about thirty panels conveying the international, national and local history of the conflict. All big themes are covered, but lesser known aspects are also brought to the fore, such as foreigners who fought at the front, food shortage and big battles.
These photos, documents and stories will be travelling all over Belgium between 2014 and 2018. This exhibition is available to hire for free (excluding EUR 50 insurance costs) for a period of at least a week.
